Norfolk and New Orleans Jazz Cruise
This delightful hotel has every facility you would expect from a first class establishment.
There's a blend of antique and modern furniture, 49 en-suite bedrooms and is well known for its variety of imaginative menus served in its tastefully furnished restaurant.
It is well situated in the coastal town of West Runton midway between Sheringham and Cromer and is close to the highest point in Norfolk - 'Roman Camp'. It's an experience not to be missed.
Itinerary:
Sat: After a short stop for complimentary coffee we head straight to Sheringham to join the Lobster Potties Festival. There's bands, Irish and Scottish dancers and of course the Morris Men.
Sun: This morning we take the Bure Valley Railway Aylsham to Hoveton with time to take refreshment in Wroxham before we take the afternoon cruise on the River Bure aboard a Mississippi Steamboat from Horning in the company of a New Orleans style jazz band.
Mon: A visit to the Coastal Resort of Great Yarmouth.
Tues: This morning we visit the old fishing town of Cromer now a popular holiday resort followed by afternoon tea at the Thursford Organ Museum listening to Street Organs from all over Europe and then be entertained by Robert Wolfe on the mighty Wurlitzer. There are also restaurants, shops, etc. Homeward now stopping at Thorney for refreshment.
