Scotch corner (York)
York, Beamish and Carlisle/Settle railway
Day 1: This interesting weekend starts with a visit to the historic city of York. Then we head onwards to our hotel at Scotch corner, a spacious and delightful hotel with all the usual services.
Day 2: Today we visit Beamish and see how life was 100 years ago.
Day 3: To Appleby in Westmoreland to board the train to settle through the beautiful Yorkshire dales with some awesome views on its many viaducts.
Lastly we call at Skipton a Riverside town with its Mediaeval Castle.
